Dr. Mustafa Edris, Rector of Al Khartoum University received here yesterday Saudi Cultural Attaché to Sudan Nasir Nafea Al Barraq at the University campus. Speaking on the occasion, the Saudi Cultural Attaché reiterated that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is living the era of prosperity under the leadership of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz. He also highlighted the constant follow up of Dr. Khalid Al Anqari, The Higher Education Minister for the Kingdom's educational progress. "Under the King's patronage and care, there are currently more than 60,000 Saudi students on foreign scholarships," he said. "Moreover, the investment in Saudi cadres, is the path chosen by the higher education for proceeding ahead in the country's educational mission. It also extends the ministry a beneficial potential and the utility channel to extend bridges of cooperation between Saudi universities and other global universities including those in Sudan," he added.
