Huda M. Al-Ghoson has been appointed general manager of Saudi Aramco's Training and Career Development, effective July 1. Al-Ghoson brings decades of human-resource management experience to the position, having worked as director of the Human Resources Policy and Planning Department, as a Corporate Benefits adviser, as a consultant in the Compensation Division and as an Employee Relations staff analyst. She also serves as a board member for Saudi Aramco subsidiary Vela International Marine Ltd. She joined Saudi Aramco in 1981 after completing her bachelor's of arts degree in English from King Saud University in Riyadh. She earned a master's degree in business administration (MBA) from the American University in Washington, D.C, according to a press release of Saudi Aramco. Al-Ghoson also has participated in several management development activities, including the Saudi Aramco Leadership Forum, the Economics of Oil Program, the Advanced Management Program at the University of Oxford, Executive Influence by RADA in London, and the Saudi Aramco Management Development Seminar in Washington, D.C.
