The 15th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), started its deliberations here today with the handover of its Presidency from Cuban President Raul Castro to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak for the next three years. The summit is attended by leaders and representatives of the 118 Member States of the Movement in addition to representatives of States and regional and international organizations with observer status in the movement. In addition, dozens of countries and organizations have been invited to attend the summit as guests. Dr. Nizar Obaid Madani, The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs is heading the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Summit.
