People sickened after drinking a toxic home-brewed liquor continued to arrive at hospitals in western India, as the death toll from the tainted drink rose to 122, police said Saturday. Another 224 are being treated in hospitals in the Ahmadabad, according to an officer at the Police Control Room in the main city in Gujarat state, where the sale of all liquor is banned.
