A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed here today by the College of Shari'a of the University of Jordan and Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Chair for Contemporary Islamic Studies of King Saud University. The MoU was signed by the Supervisor of Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Chair for Contemporary Islamic Studies Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Qasim and the Dean of the Faculty of Shari'a of the University of Jordan Dr. Mohammed Al-Majali. The Chair was inaugurated last year following an initiative of Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General. The Chair's vision is based on achieving excellence locally and internationally in contemporary Islamic studies.
