Two people were killed and two others are missing after a raft capsized in southwest China's Guizhou province on Wednesday afternoon, Xinhua quoted local authorities as saying. The accident happened at 1:30 p.m. when a raft carrying seven tourists and five crew members capsized in the Qingshuihe river in the Xingyi city. Eight people were saved, but four others fell into the water. One body was later pulled out of river after the accident while another person died in hospital. Both victims were tourists, said rescuers. Rescuers are still looking for two missing passengers. According to an official in charge of the rescue work who declined to be named, the river section where the accident happened was 20 kilometers long, the mountainous roads were rugged and communication was poor. The eight survivors hadn't gathered, thus rescuers didn't know the identity of the two missing people.
