The Israeli Forces issued demolition notices to seven houses belonging to Palestinian citizens in Selwan Village- south of the Old Town, Palestinian sources said. These demolition notices came after the visit of Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak to Washington where he took up a proposal to confront U.S. administration's request or demand to halt settlements by freezing 70% of demolition orders of houses in the occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds).
