Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher has returned home following a two-week stay in hospital after she fell and broke her left arm. The 82-year-old Thatcher, who suffers from dementia, waved to reporters Monday with her right arm. The other arm remains in a sling. She did not make any comments before being escorted inside, The Associated Press reported. Thatcher had a pin surgically inserted into her upper left arm following her June 12 hospitalization. She was Britain's first female prime minister and served three terms from 1979 to 1990. She has suffered deteriorating health in recent years, particularly from a series of minor strokes.
