Saad Al-Hariri elected as new Lebanese PM

The binding parliamentary consultations by Lebanon's President Michel Suleiman concluded here today with assignment of Saad Al-Hariri, the Head of Al-Mustaqbal Bloc, as the new Lebanese Prime Minister with 86 votes out of 128.
President Suleiman will meet Nabih Berri, the Speaker of the House of Representatives to inform him of the results of consultations with representatives and then to call on Al-Hariri to officially inform him of his assignment for the formation of the cabinet.
