Brazil's president said that he will probably run again in 2014 if an opposition candidate wins the presidency in 2010, according to AP. President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva is finishing his second consecutive term and cannot seek re-election in 2010. But Silva tells the Zero Hora newspaper in Friday editions that if the candidate from his ruling Workers Party does not win next year, he will likely run in 2014. Silva says «if an adversary wins the election, it can be predicted that I'll return in 2014.» Silva's hand-picked successor Dilma Rousseff is far behind likely opposition candidate Jose Serra in recent polls. Silva remains extremely popular in Brazil. Polls give him a 69 percent approval rating.
