The United States and Venezuela are restoring their ambassadors who were withdrawn in a diplomatic spat in September, U.S. and Venezuelan officials said Wednesday. The normalization of diplomatic relations “will take place in the coming days, and as soon as the ambassadors have resumed their functions we will move forward to a more fluid communication,” Venezuelan Foreign Minister Nicolas Maduro said in Maracay, on the sidelines of a regional trade summit.
