South Korean President Lee Myung-bak arrived in Washington on Monday morning for talks with the Obama administration on growing tensions with North Korea. Lee's arrival was confirmed by a South Korean embassy spokeswoman. He is scheduled to meet later Monday with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The two leaders will discuss ways to quickly ratify a free-trade agreement signed two years ago but awaiting approval by the legislatures in both countries. Obama and Lee met in April on the sidelines of the Group of 20 (G20) meeting in London, but this will be their first formal summit.
