The Jeddah-based Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed here today a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Arab-Russian Chamber on the promotion of economic information cooperation as well as investment opportunities available in the two countries. The MoU was signed by Jeddah Chamber's Vice-President Mazen Mohammad Batterjee and President of Arab-Russian Chamber Vladimir Yevtushenkov. The signing ceremony was attended by the Governor of Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) Amr Al-Dabbagh and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov. The signing of the MoU came within the framework of the visit of the Saudi trade delegation to St. Petersburg to participate in the workshop entitled "Dialogue of Arab-Russian Trade Business" which was held within "St. Petersburg World Economic Forum 2009", that concluded earlier today.
