Qirbi pointed out that the meeting will discuss a number of issues relating to the promotion of partnership and cooperation between the Republic of Yemen and the GCC states; assessment of the process of cooperation during the past period and future prospects; Yemen's accession into new GCC organizations; integration of Yemeni economy into the economies of the GCC states; and implementation of existing projects within the framework of the financial pledges made by the GCC states in London Conference of Donors in 2006. He added that the meeting will discuss issues of coordination and consultation between the GCC States and the Republic of Yemen in various political, economic and security fields in light of current developments in the region as well as the discussion of ways for the GCC states to support unified, stable and prosperous Yemen.
