The 3rd Saudi International Conference(SIC-2009), entitled as "The Spirit of Scientific Enquiry " sponsored by King Abdulaziz University, ended its activities today at the University of Surrey (Guildford, UK). The conference is a multidisciplinary in nature, and its working papers cover subjects in humanities, applied sciences, biomedical & health sciences, engineering and information & communication technologies. The two-day conference, which is convened for the third consecutive year in the United Kingdom, was previously held at universities of Newcastle and Leeds respectively. The conference is organized by the Saudi Students' Clubs and Schools in the UK and Ireland. The program included research papers and poster presentations, training workshops, plenary panel discussions and an exhibition. The conference will have informative-refereed presentations, the latest research, exciting displays at the SIC-2009 Exhibition and lots of networking opportunities for members and guests to reconnect with educators, researchers and colleagues from the UK and Saudi Arabia. --MORE
