Three people, including the pilot, were injured on Saturday when a passenger jet crash-landed in western Myanmar, officials said. The Myanma Airways XY-ADW jet carrying 80 passengers from Yangon landed about 90 metres wide of the runway in Sittwe, about 320 km (200 miles) northwest of the capital. An official from Myanmar's national flag carrier said two passengers and the pilot were treated in hospital for injuries but none of them were in a critical condition. The landing gear and one wing of the jet were severely damaged, the official told Reuters.
