The 12th Arab Conference of Heads of Investigation and Criminal Evidence Services was held today at the headquarters of the Secretariat General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers Council in Tunis. A number of delegations from Arab countries participated in the conference, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as representatives of Arab League States and Naif Arab University for Security Sciences. At the opening session, the Secretary General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Kuman delivered a speech in which he thanked Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister, who is also the Honorary President of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, and Arab Interior Ministers for their great support for the Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers. The conference will discuss issues relating to preparing a unified Arab database for exchanging fingerprints of people convicted in absentia.
