A European Union human rights agency says one in three Muslims suffered discrimination over the past year and many fail to report racist incidents because of a lack of trust in authorities, AP reported. In a report Thursday, the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights urged governments in the 27-nation bloc to tackle discrimination by making people aware of how to file complaints over discrimination and racism. The report is part of wider survey on the experience of immigrants and ethnic minorities and says the highest levels of discrimination against Muslims occurred in the workplace.
