Three people have been killed by a roadside bomb that struck an American convoy carrying soldiers, government employees and contractors west of Baghdad, the U.S. military said Tuesday. It was not immediately known whether any of those killed in the bombing in Fallujah on Monday were Americans, said military spokesman Maj. Jose Lopez. Two other people were wounded, according to a U.S. statement released Tuesday. The statement said the bomb struck a vehicle in the convoy as it passed near Fallujah. American soldiers, U.S civilians working for the government and American contractors were among those traveling in the vehicles, according to a report of Associated Press.
