Council Chairman Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh received here today Hans-Rudolf Merz, the Swiss President and Chief of Federal Department of Finance, and the accompanying delegation. During the meeting, Dr. Al Al-Sheikh briefed the Swiss President on the tasks of the Shoura Council. They also discussed issues of common interest between the two countries, particularly ways of enhancing parliamentary cooperation. The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
