Ayyaf ‘Arab Mayor of the Year'

Riyadh Mayor Prince Abdul Aziz bin Ayyaf was awarded the Arab City Mayor of the Year Award for 2009.
The award was presented to the mayor by Naseba, a leading business information company that specializes in organizing high profile conferences and events, and the Arab Urban Development Institute at a glittering function held at the Faisaliah Hotel on Monday.
The award ceremony marked the beginning of a three-day symposium — “Kingdom Expansion Congress.” Ayyaf was rewarded for bringing Riyadh into a new era of development that gave the city a new identity, according to a report published today by Arab News.
