South Korean ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Hong Jong Ki has expressed appreciation for the efforts exerted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to enhance dialogue of peace ad understanding among human cultures and civilizations. He said the prize of King Abdullah for translation will add more to the initiatives he has adopted for enhancing the pillars of fruitful international dialogue that contributes to the solution of several problems caused by the absence of understanding. "This prize is not separated from the call of King Abdullah to conduct dialogue among the followers of cultures and religions". The ambassador underlined the importance of shedding light on the significance of the prize for all universities and research centers. He expressed happiness over a Korean scholar winning the prize for his translation of the book entitled 'The Prophet Mohammed', and said the translation of the aforesaid book will positively contribute to introduction of accurate knowledge about Islam in South Korea. The ambassador confirmed the keenness of the Korean embassy on shedding light on the prize and the conditions of nomination for it, notably at the Korean universities which teach Arabic language.
