On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah Region, opened the 27th session of Global Understanding Council at King Abdullah Economic City here today. Upon arrival at the venue, the Prince was received by Organizing Chairman of the Session and Associate Member Abdulaziz Al-Quraishi, the Governor of Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) Amr bin Abdullah Al-Dabbagh, and a number of officials. A speech ceremony was held on this occasion. In his speech, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal pointed out that the meeting is being held today on a land of a project which is one of the King's initiatives launched from time to time to serve the people of this country and all mankind, pointing in this regard to King Abdullah Economic City and King Abdullah University for Science and Technology.
