Under Secretaries and Heads of Statistical Departments in member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will hold their 22nd meeting in Muscat, Oman, on Sunday. The meeting will deal with several topics related to statistics including among others the recommendations of the Committee of Directors of Economic Statistics on unification of calculating standard numbers, the approval of the recommendations of a working group of environmental statistics, and adoption of a unified guide of statistical terminology. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
