King Abdullah II of Jordan flew to Cairo Tuesday for talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on efforts under way to re-launch "serious negotiations" between the Palestinians and Israel on the basis of the two-state solution, the royal court said. "The discussions will focus on the outcome of King Abdullah's meeting with US President Barack Obama on April 21 that sought to arrive at a comprehensive and lasting peace in the region on the basis of the relevant references, foremost the Arab peace initiative," the statement said. During the White House meeting, Obama strongly supported the two-state vision as well as the Arab peace blueprint, which offers Israel a recognition by all Arab countries if it quits all lands it occupied in the 1967 Six-Day War, including East Jerusalem, according to a report of DPA.
