KFCC to hold annual meeting on Beating-Heart Bypass Surgery

The 3rd Annual meeting of King Fahd Cardiac Center with a theme of "Beating Heart Bypass Surgery Update and Teleconference" will be held from May 2-3 at the main auditorium of the Faculty of Medicine, King Saud University (KSU).
As many as 22 CME is approved by Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
The conference will discuss a number of topics including, Off-Pump and Robotic Surgery: Status in 2009, Off-Pump: Experience of Different Centers, Off-Pump Arterial Revascularization.
KFCC is the first specialized center in the Kingdom to conduct beating-heart bypass surgery.
In the 12 years period, the Center has conducted with great success nearly 4,000 surgeries using this modern technique.
