Fayez, the deputy education minister for girls education, speaking through a closed circuit-television, expressed happiness for honoring the former minister and said it means that 'we are grateful for the sincere efforts he had exerted for the development of the educational sector'. She lauded the generous support being extended by the government to the education ministry. Meanwhile, former education minister Dr Al-Obaid hoped that the education ministry, under the leadership of the new minister, would successfully face all challenges and perform its mission in the service of the country. The function was attended by a number of senior officials.
