Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdulrahman bin Hamad al-Atiyyah received here today Tunisian Ambassador to the Kingdom Najib Al-Munif. During the meeting, the ambassador delivered the invitation of Tunisian Foreign Minister Abdul Wahab Abdullah to GCC Secretary General to participate in the international conference on dialogue among civilizations and cultural diversification scheduled be held in Kairouan, Tunisia, from 2-4 June 2009. They also discussed ways of enhancing relations between GCC and Tunisia in various fields in addition to the latest developments at regional and international arenas. Later, the GCC Secretary General received here today Sri Lankan Ambassador to the Kingdom Abdalaqid Mohamed Marilyn. During the meeting, they reviewed ways of enhancing relations between GCC and Sri Lanka in addition to issues of common interest. --More
