Foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Lebanon, the Palestinian Authority in addition to Arab League's Secretary General Amr Moussa concluded a meeting here today to complete the consultations they earlier started at the Arab summit held in Doha recently. The Saudi delegation to the meeting was led by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister. In a statement to reporters following the meeting, the Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judah said that the meeting was held for consultation prior to the forthcoming visit of the Jordanian King Abdullah II to the United States who will convey to the U.S. administration the results of Doha summit, adding that the meeting reaffirmed the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the Palestinian national soil and stressed the necessity for following up the Arab Peace Initiative.
