A Thai security official says Asian leaders are being evacuated by helicopter from an Asian summit that was abruptly canceled for security reasons. The evacuation came shortly after more than 1,000 anti-government protesters stormed the venue of the seaside summit in Thailand, Associated Press reported. The official said at least nine leaders attending the summit were being flown by helicopter to a nearby military airport.
