Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi opened here today a meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union. The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Shoura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammad bin Ibrahim Al Alsheikh, the head of the kingdom's delegation, the accompanying delegation and parliamentarians. A speech ceremony was held on the occasion including a speech by Prime Minister Zenawi. The speeches highlighted the importance of boosting world parliamentary cooperation.
