Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah region, chaired here today the Fifth meeting of Taif's Tourism Development Council. Speaking on the occasion, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal said Taif governorate is a premier Tourism Center in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He appraised the great attention given by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to the tourism development in Taif governorate, and urged businessmen to invest in the tourism sector. Prince Khalid said the Governorate of Taif in cooperation with the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities is going ahead on implementing the project of Okaz Historical Market as well as Hada and Al-Shifa areas in Taif. Taif governorate will become a model for the successful tourism in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, God willing, he said. The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
