U.S. intelligence chief Dennis Blair said today the global economy has not turned around yet despite a series of steps designed to spark a recovery, according to Reuters. "The global economic trend has yet to show signs of a turnaround," said the national intelligence director, whose agency briefs President Barack Obama daily on the economy. The economic picture "hasn't turned around yet," Blair told reporters when asked what the theme of his daily briefings has been.
