The Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation (SCOT) warned national patients with renal failure of the risk of responding to calls of suspicious persons abroad the Kingdom, especially in one of Southeast Asia countries, who claim that they can provide Saudi patients with the required organs of kidneys in return for large amounts of money. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, Director of SCOT Dr. Faisal bin Abdulrheem Shaheen stressed that there is confirmed information that some Saudi citizens have been exposed to cases of fraud and deception in this context, urging those patients who want to undergo operations of Kidney transportation to resort to the Kingdom's official health agencies, especially the SCOT.
