A suicide attack on police killed at least nine people in southern Afghanistan on Monday morning, authorities said. A combination of police officers and civilians died in the attack, which took place in central Lashkar Gah in Helmand province, CNN reported. Two members of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) died at the scene of the blast in eastern Afghanistan, and two died later of their wounds, the ISAF said in a statement.
