A team of experts from the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade And Industry will hand over the Saudi-Japanese Automobile High Institute 95 cars manufactured in Japan. This development constitutes a part of the support pledged by the Japanese government to the Institute in the light of the joint cooperation between the Saudi and Japanese governments. Salim al-Asmari, the Institute's Executive Director, said this support to the Institute is pledged by the Japanese ministry of economy, trade and industry following the expiry of the current support which is extended through the foreign ministry and the Japanese agency for international cooperation due to expire by the end of August, 2009. The Institute is qualified to receive the required support as it constitutes an important source for the training of the Saudi youth to work as technicians at the maintenance centers and workshops in the Kingdom. He noted that the Japanese government is keen on extending support to the Institute.
