International banks and financial organizations should treat developing economies more fairly, UPI quoted Russian President Dmitry Medvedev as saying. Medvedev, who will attend the April 2 Group of 20 summit in London to participate in efforts to right the global economy, says international financial structures need to be reformed, RIA Novosti reported Saturday. "The current crisis has shown that their (the organizations') activity is far from ideal -- the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, and other structures," Medvedev said in an interview to be broadcast Sunday on Russia's First Channel. Russia and other countries that are among the world's biggest developing economies need a better deal from the institutions, he said.
