Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Deputy President of Youth Welfare of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Deputy Chairman of the Saudi Olympic Committee and Member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), met in Kuwait tonight with Dr. Jacques Rogge, the President of IOC. During the meeting, Dr. Rogge lauded the Saudi Olympic Committee's strategy for Saudi sports movement, citing the recently-held elections of the committee's board of directors and those of other sports federations. He commended the role played by the Saudi Olympic Committee, led by its Chairman Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the General President of Youth Welfare, in coordinating sports development efforts between the IOC and Saudi national committee. He praised Prince Nawaf bin Faisal as among the IOC's most prominent and active members. The meeting was attended by senior Saudi officials.
