As many as 120 Saudi law researchers and experts have decided to establish a first-of-its kind center for international conciliation and arbitration. The decision came after the conclusion on Tuesday of their first training program to discuss the initial skills required for international arbitrators. The center aims to develop a system essential for creating an awareness of the latest legal rules, including the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRL) rules adopted by the US in the field of arbitration and conciliation. UNCITRL is a legal body with universal membership which has specialized in commercial law reform worldwide for over 40 years. UNCITRL is involved in the modernization and harmonization of rules on international business, Saudi Gazette reported today. --MORE
