Indian prime minister back at work after surgery

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh
returned to work Wednesday, nearly seven weeks after
undergoing heart bypass surgery.
Singh waved to the media after receiving President Boni
Yayi from the West African nation of Benin for talks.
«This was his first official engagement post bypass
surgery,» said his spokeswoman, Deepak Sandhu, adding that
Singh had been receiving briefings during his time at home.
