The 131st Session of the Arab Foreign Ministers, chaired by the Sudanese State Minister for Foreign Affairs Ali Ahmed Karti concluded at the Arab League's headquarters in Cairo today. The delegation of Saudi Arabia was chaired by Prince Saudi Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister. In the current session meetings, the Arab foreign ministers prepared the draft agenda of the 21st Arab Summit scheduled to be held in the State of Qatar on March 30th. The draft agenda includes several basic, economic and security issues which was forwarded to the Summit preparatory meeting at the foreign ministers level to be held in Qatar from 27 - 28. The Arab ministers also approved a number of suggestions and recommendations drafted by the open-membership Arab committee at the experts' level on protection of Arab national security. The suggestions included the challenges facing Arab national security, and activation and expansion of the Arab Peace and Security Council to play its role in protection of the Arab peace and security. --More
