A number of Egyptian and Palestinian officials have commended the message sent by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Egypt's President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak in which the King congratulated the President on his achievement for national reconciliation and dialogue between Palestinians. In statements to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Official Spokesman of Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Hossam Zaki said that the King's message to President Mubarak reflects deep-rooted relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt based on strategic cooperation between the two countries for the interest of Arab nations and the Palestinian cause. He said that cooperation, coordination and consultation between the two countries constituted the cornerstone of stability in the region for the interest of the Palestinian cause and Arab issues. On his part, the Chairman of Arab and Foreign Affairs Committee of Egyptian Shoura Council Ambassador Mohammed Bassiouni highly appreciated the King's Message to the Egyptian President, describing the message as an important one and it stresses that all Arabs are united on the side of wisdom and reason for the interest of the Arab nation. --MORE
