Saudi Ambassador to the United States of America Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir held at the embassy in Washington on Wednesday a luncheon for a number of the staff of U.S. Department of State, who are preparing for work at the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh and its consulates in Jeddah and Dhahran. Addressing the staff, the Ambassador stressed deep and historical relations of friendship and cooperation between Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America in various fields. He reviewed the development of these relations in the areas of Saudi scholarships to the United States of America , which have been significantly increased within the framework of the Program of Foreign Scholarship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, as well as the exchange of visits and delegations in various political, diplomatic, cultural, commercial aspects. Ambassador Al-Jubeir affirmed the keenness of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on further promoting and deepening of relations and coordination between the two countries on various issues of common concern for the interest of the two countries and their peoples.
