A US Army medic was found guilty of the murder of four Iraqis in 2007 by a military court on Friday at a US army base in Vilseck, Germany, reported the dpa. The local German newspaper Der neue Tag, reporting on the case, said the 26-year-old defendant was found guilty of murder of four Iraqi prisoners in the spring of 2007 in Baghdad. The soldier faces a possible sentence of life without parole. The military court has not yet handed down a sentence. Last year, two other soldiers were sentenced to seven and eight months prison as accomplices in the murder of the four Iraqis. Two further chief suspects in the murder of the four Iraqis and another soldier are still to be tried by the US military court.
