Polish police say two members of a rescue team flying to help a pregnant woman injured in a car accident were killed and a third was injured when their helicopter crashed, reported ap. A pilot, a doctor and a medical assistant were flying in a Mi-2 helicopter to aide the woman who was injured in a pileup of 10 cars in dense fog near the southwestern town of Budziszow early Tuesday. Regional police spokesman Pawel Petrykowski says it is not clear what caused the helicopter to crash. The pilot and medical assistant were killed, while the doctor was taken to a Wroclaw hospital for treatment. The pregnant woman was later taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries and has been released.
