Presided over by its chairman Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Homaid, the Shoura Council held here today its 77th ordinary session. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Secretary General of Shoura Council Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Ghamdi said that the Council approved by majority vote the draft agreement between the Kingdom and the Kingdom of the Netherlands on the elimination of dual taxation and income tax evasion, as well as the draft protocol accompanying it and which was presented by the Committee for Financial Affairs. He also said that the Council approved by majority vote the flight services draft agreement between the Kingdom and Japan. The Council also approved the request made by some of its Councilors to reconsider the first paragraph of the Council's decision regarding the Ministry of Justice's annual report for the fiscal years 1426/1427H. In light of the request, the Council approved by majority vote to abolish the paragraph and comply by its previous decision. The Council also approved continuing the study of a proposal to reconsider the Military Retirement Regulation.
