Governor of the Eastern Region chairs meeting

Prince Mohammad bin Fahad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region and President of the region's council, chaired a meeting of the region's council here today.
During the meeting, the governor hailed this year's budget which included huge financial appropriations for the approved major development projects in all regions of the kingdom including the Eastern Region.
The governor commended support by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, for balanced development.
The governor said 10,897,536,000 riyals were approved for projects in the region for this fiscal year 1430/1431 H.
