Abdullah Ahmed Zainel, Minister of Commerce and Industry received here today Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs Carl Bildt and the accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they reviewed means of enhancing trade relations between the two friendly and ways of taking advantage of all opportunities available for the benefit of the two countries. The meeting was attended by senior officials of the ministry and the Swedish Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Jan Thesleff. In 2007, the volume of the bilateral trade between the two countries amounted to SR 4,987 million. Of this amount, exports accounted for SR 219 million and imports were worth SR 4,768 million.
