An Italian business delegation, representing 30 companies working in the field of industries and foreign relations' development headed by chairman of the Camera di commercio Italo- Araba ( The Arab- Italian Chamber of Commerce Sergio Marini ) visited recently Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry to explore mutual business opportunities and possibilities of cooperation between business men in the two countries. The Deputy Chairman of Jeddah Chamber Maze Mohammad Battered held an open dialogue with the visiting Italian delegation in the presence of the Italian Consul General in Jeddah, Adriano Maria Santacesaria in addition to a large number of Saudi businessmen dealing with Italian companies, which offer services in the development of industrial cities, auto and apparels' industries. Speaking on the occasion, Al-Baterajee reaffirmed the strength of relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Italian Republic, noting that Italy is the sixth partner of Saudi Arabia in terms of the total volume of trade exchange between the two countries that reached $8.8 billion. Of this amount, $5.6 billion accounted for the Italian imports by the Kingdom and $3.2 billion for Saudi exports to Italy last year, saying that as many as 80 Italian companies are working in Saudi Arabia in various fields. --MORE
