Arab foreign ministers will start today their preparatory meetings for the Arab Economic Summit to be held in Kuwait. It is expected that the Gaza events will top the summit's agenda. Other economic issues will also be discussed. The Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, said on Wednesday, that "The situation in Gaza will top our agenda. Our aim is to put an immediate halt to the bloodshed in Palestine and to bring about the appropriate mechanisms for Palestinian unity and reconciliation.
